Rob Bernosky's Action Plan
As a successful entrepreneurial businessman, Rob understands first hand the problems we are faced with and has a comprehensive plan to solve them with practical proven solutions. Rob knows creating jobs in private business is key to digging California government out of its fiscal turmoil. Rob also knows that it is essential for our agriculture and education sectors to be allowed to flourish to be the best. When considering a proposed legislative action, Rob’s choice will be based on a knowledge of historical consequences, good and bad, and especially is it fair to everyone affected.
As your Assembly Member, I will constantly work to:
Create pro-growth jobs by encouraging private business to innovate as a result of increasing the R&D tax credit, lowering both corporate taxes and fees plus eliminating job-killing regulations, especially for small business.
Shrink State government to a fiscally solvent size by eliminating wasteful spending, limiting spending growth to the rate of inflation and funding services based on priorities established by independent cost/benefit analysis.
Reform our education system by working with teachers, unions and administrators as I did with a school district to significantly improve it to be among the best in California.
Do whatever is necessary and cost efficient to get agriculture the water needed to assure California’s leadership in food production and restore agricultural jobs in the 28th District.
